Karan Johar's Dharma Productions' films have always given us good music and Kurbaan continues the trend. Salim-Sulaiman's music here is heavily steeped in Sufism. Shukran Allah (Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal) is a touching romantic number elevated to a spiritual experience by the accompanying devotional chant. Salim's Sufi styled Ali Maula, Shruti Pandit's semi-classical Rasiya and Sukhvinder – Kailash Kher Sufi- qawwali styled Duaa and Vishal Dadlani's rock-flavoured Kurbaan Huaaa are all interesting numbers.
