Fantasy, frivolity and fun- that's what the film promises and the music tries hard to deliver. Sr. Bachchan (playing the genie!) shows off his singing through two fun-tracks a Hip Hop-styled Genie Rap (with Anushka Manchanda) and a Bhojpuri-styled O Re Sawariya (with Shreya Ghoshal). In due course, Sanjay Dutt (playing the villain) also gets to 'sing' his off key piece Giri Giri Giri Re Bijuria. There are 70s-styled situational dance-songs Tak Dhina Dhin (Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan) and Bachke O Bachke (Shaan,Sunidhi, Shankar). The only 'serious' tune turns out to be a nice Hinglish romantic ballad You May Be rendered by Vishal and Shekhar.
