Pritam
The fast, foot-tapping fun-tracks are to be expected in this album since the film happens to be a comedy but surprisingly the mellow romantic compositions hog the limelight here. Despite his mind-boggling workload, Pritam manages to create some quality tunes that are quite likely to capture public imagination.
First to the fun and frolic part. Neeeraj Shridhar's robustly rustic Prem Ki Naiya is a surefire hit amongst some run-of-the-mill dance tracks like Main Tera Dhadkan Teri (KK, Sunidhi, Hard Kaur), Oh By God (Mika Sunidhi), Aa Jaao Meri Tamanna (Jojo, Javed Ali) and Follow Me (Hard Kaur).
Then comes the serious and romantic stuff. Atif Aslam's edgy vocals give Tu Jaane Na and Tera Hone Laga Hoon an interesting and intriguing flavour. Even though later Soham and Kailash Kher both come up with their versions of Tu Jaane Na, they cannot outdo Aslam's superlative effort.
The rest of the album is filled with the customary surplus of mindless remixes.
