Shantanu Moitra's melodious tunes and Swanand Kirkire's catchy lyrics have already made their mark in Parineeta, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Khoya Khoya Chaand and Laga Chunari Mein Daag. For this college-buddies story, the musical .team once again impresses with some nice youthful songs.

 

The devil-may-care mood of college campus is superbly captured in the opening track Aal Izz Well. Sonu Nigam, Shaan and Swanand Kirkire have a blast singing this upbeat fun-song depicting the confused attitudes of the young students. Next we are transported back in time with a sweet, swinging romantic duet Zoobi Zoobi rendered in style by the tried and trusted pair of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. Suraj Jagan's soft rock-styled Give Me Some Sunshine is another captivating track, expressing a wish to grow up once again.

 

Sonu Nigam's operatic Jaane Nahi Denge Tujhe and Shaan- Shantanu Moitra's Behti Hawaa Saa Thaa are good to hear but are too situational to make a lasting impact. The rest of the album is filled with remixes.
